...I may have bitten off more than I can chew, here.

The highlight of the day (nay, the week) happened late this afternoon where I not only got a piggy-back* from a grown man, but piggy-backed him in return. Unsurprisingly didn't get very far with me, but bless him, he gave it a shot.

Also, on a whim I have made a decision. For the next week, if a post A) appears on my friend's list, and B) is able to be commented on, I will post a comment in. At least one.

It will not just be a smiley or emoticon. It will be thought out, more than a single word**, ideally a full sentence or two.

**unless I decide that my comment is going to consist of a totally awesome five-minute MS Paint creation.

Between recipes, records, information and roleplaying, I can imagien there'd be a lot people would want to back up.

So sometimes Livejournals have an automatic default cut to say 'you may be viewing content that is inappropriate for minors'. I have it set to bypass that cut automatically, but when I've looked at my list and I've not been logged in, the cut is still there. This is good and fine.

But, when I see such cuts on journal posts on my flist that I've never seen anything controversial on? I start to wonder what's being blogged about by my friends that I don't have access to.

Hmm....

So I belong to a community called best_thing_ever. Their job is to determine the best thing ever by a process of weekly elimination. This week, they're currently voting on whether Firefly the insect or Firefly the SERIES is better, and when I checked yesterday the Insect was winning by a hundred or so votes. Since someone has linked it to a Whedon fan site and the tide seems to have turned, but people might wish to help seal the deal by offering their vote.

Has anyone else noticed the specially-themed user profile icons on Livejournal for today?

Also, the 'update' button has become 'Update Captain's Log.'

Even if it's a day late in my case, I'm still amused. :)
